I moved the new angelfish out of the quarantine tank into their new home last night.  They seem to be settling in fine, and interestingly, they’re displaying their fins a lot more now that they have more space.  The widefins in particular look a lot more impressive, even at their tiny size, with their dorsals raised all the way up.

(No pics of the new tank yet — I forgot to sink my driftwood beforehand so I’ve just got this big stick floating derpily in there… and I can’t finish setting up my plants until that thing isn’t threatening to tear them all out. Alas.)

On a more worrisome note, one of the pinoys — who now appears to be the smallest fish in the bunch — was hanging out by himself this evening, even at feeding time. He did sort of vaguely wander over to the feeding area, but didn’t seem interested in frantically eating like the others.  Might be a bad sign; I’ll have to keep an eye on him.
